O-Edo Nihonbashi is an old Japanese folk melody that spoke of the bridge into Edo - old Tokyo - which merchants, geisha, warriors and the like would cross to get in and out of the city. It’s a melody that I’ve always loved and felt perfect to help tell part of this suite’s story colliding the worlds of ancient Japan with my love for all things hip hop.
