“Ritual” is the ninth track on the infina ad nausea LP featuring my friend CSLTY. This track is the brief touch-base with clarity, when the frenzied thoughts reassemble into fresh ideas. CSLTY initially sent me an ambient demo for this track, which I sampled and reworked into a higher energy space.

Ritual feat. CSLTY

“Rewind” is the tenth track on the infina ad nausea LP. This track is when the panicked state is taken over by motivation. No longer frenzied, but on the move to something entirely new.

Rewind

“The Outer Edge” is the first track on the infina ad nausea LP featuring my cat ambientkitty. This track is the lullaby before the spiral - a gentle sendoff into the coils of the mind. I sampled my cats meows and rearranged her purrs into a percussive pulse.

“Want Me 2” is the third track on the infina ad nausea LP, with the only recognizable lyrics being “I can do what you want me to.” This track is the funnel cloud, materializing into the storm. It’s the joy in relinquishing control.

“Like That” is the sixth track on the infina ad nausea LP, with the only recognizable lyrics being “I like me, I like that.” This track is the mania after the spiral, finding relief in self-love while still teetering on the edge.

Like That

“Buena (Palo Santo)” is my genesis track. 

Written and produced in 2016, it was the catalyst to releasing my first EP Absinthe Party. I wrote it while falling in love, both with an incredible person and this QRTR project.

In early 2017, I played it for a colleague of mine, a composer named Khari Mateen, while we were both at Sundance for the premiere of a project we worked on together. He immediately told me to keep writing music and connected me to his favorite mixing/mastering engineer, Ryan Schwabe.

Ryan mastered this track for me and most recently, he mastered my second album infina ad nausea.

This track signifies a monumental shift in my life that I am still grateful for. It was the beginning of truly following my passions, and I feel like I can hear that every time I listen.

To whomever collects this, please know: you are now part of this journey too. <3

This track is the lead-up to the spiral, the early onset paranoia, the realization that perhaps the only person out to get you - is yourself.
