Based on the utterances of 14th Century Sufi (mystical/spiritual) poet Amir Khusrao, this contemporary arrangement is the jazziest Sufi music has ever sounded. Ranging from meditative/healing World to ecstatic and transcendent Jazz improvisation, the song speaks of color returning to a state of colorlessness; a reunion where previously there was a state of separation, thereby a creating a feeling that can be synaesthetically experienced as the red glow of dawn, after the dark night of the soul.
