Don't Stop

As my world of live concerts, collaborations, and singing parties evaporated in 2020, like most musicians I had to turn inward. I started slowly building a studio in my home, and exploring what I could make alone. This radically changed my music and my imagination.

STROKE is my first electronic release on any platform.  All sounds come from a single Moog DFAM drum machine.

25% of proceeds will be donated to Musicambia to support music education in prisons.

This lullaby is the last and my favorite of my Five Easy Pieces.  It's both sweet and sour, comforting and strange, and slightly surreal, like the images that come as we are falling asleep.

November 1 (Homesick)

I keep a staff paper notebook and use it like a personal diary. When I have a quiet moment I sketch tunes about people, travels, and life experiences. It's almost never for public ears - it's a place where I get to think about music without trying to impress other people. This album opens a small window into that private world.
