Lately, I've been going absolutely hard in the paint. Between picking up new instruments, moving to a new place, and starting up new projects in web3, I'm constantly occupied. This time, though, it feels a little different than before. At this point in my life, I've started to put together the framework for the rest of my life. All of the work I find myself doing is deeply involved in the subjects I'm passionate about, whether that's leveling up my playing skills, building infrastructure for the homies, or reaching goals that I set for myself as a young man. There's still a lot to be done, and a ton of dreams to realize, but it's safe to say I'm in orbit right now, reaching for the moon.

Grind

I recently gathered a group of absolute legends/catalog colleagues Oshi, Harris Cole, Dot, Dabow, Sober Rob and others for a project of monumental proportions. After working on the application for nearly a year, production began for hedsTAPE 01 with a crowdfund and a dream. Sober Rob contributed the genesis sample, and each of 10 producers created their own interpretations. I created audio-reactive CG music videos for each of these tracks, and on 2/12 at 12 PST we minted the entire audiovisual experience. This production sprint ended up being an experience that I believe to this day represents some of the best collaborative work I've ever been a part of. Oh, and we're just getting started.
