Keeping with the Erotic theme and unambiguous song titles, I wanted to make this sound a steady buildup, as actual foreplay would involve in lovemaking, so I layered each instrument I played, little by little, until the full instrumentation of the sound was realized, and then deconstructed as I removed them bit by bit, back to the kick drum/heartbeat...but I made it so that if you single-repeated the track, it would be a perfect, seamless loop, in case the song wasn't long enough for some people's "late night sessions". This song is also the longest song of the album at 8 minutes and 19 seconds. Originally, I wanted to outdo a famous instrumental song called "Moments in Love" by Art of Noise, which has been used in numerous African-American movies for love scenes, but I didn't make it past their 10 minute mark to be longer than it was. BUT, when I realized that it wasn't a true instrumental because at some point there are words briefly spoken, then I realized mine was the true long instrumental and I felt I won a private competition I set for myself. That aside, it's a great instrumental for sexy time and I can personally attest to that 😉
